I’m not living in La La land saying you’re a tw@t.

It’s just a subject I know a fair bit about. The easiest way to explain it is, you’re a bit like one of those Bible Belt evangelicals. Most folk can see you’ve had the pish ripped out you, deep down you probably know it yourself but you’re far too far down the path to turn back. If the average age of this board was less than 60, more people would be telling you.

So the nominations have closed for the SNP leadership race and not exactly a line up of the talents to pick from.

Despite huge misgivings on her religous beliefs, I would say Forbes is the best hope as long as she can seperate her religion from the task in hand.

Maybe she's....... I don't know......professional.... enough to represent her constituents properly without bringing her narrow minded worldview to the party, but shes already admitted that she would not have done that previously.

I think whoever wins won't be in office too long. A bit like taking over from us when Fergie left, the next leader will be the Porterfield of Scottish politics.

Think a straight battle between Regan and Forbes for it. I don't hold much hope for Yousaf. Comes across as not very intelligent.
