Which of the various, in-party, civil wars do you think will be best?

And I want the proper, edgy take.......nae lazy answers.

I think so. Called him a failure.

Luckily it's only the SNP that have infighting. Politics would be in a real bad place if all parties were like that.

Robison as Deputy FM? Desperate stuff.
Give the prospective new leader a rimming when they're running for the top job and get rewarded with jobs well above their ability if they win

    Politics in a nutshell.

Definitely the SNP one because it's new. The conservative party eu civil war has rumbled on for about 30 years and has become quite tedious, the Labour party seem to have calmed down since they dumped that nutter Corbyn. And ther Lib Dems aren't big enough to have a civil war.

One of my closest pals for almost 50 years (I mentioned his potential candidature in 2015 somewhere up there^^^, along with his being used by what he referred to as ‘party middle management’) has just sent me this:
“I’ve resigned from the SNP after 49 years”.

If people like him are deserting, there’s some serious poop going on.

It’s beginning to look like Iraq after Saddam was deposed, and the warring factions, kept quiet by fear, began the fechting.

    Interesting.

I’ve saw a few SNP members are walking away after decades of membership.

    Who could’ve predicted that?

Not me as far as my friend’s concerned. I’ve seen him put up with a lot, from the 1979 referendum, via the establishment of the 79 Group (the only time I’ve felt tempted to take out a membership) and its purging, the doldrums 80s and 90s when he wanted The Party to come out of the huff and give input to the Constitutional Convention, the wasted Swinney-in-charge years, the trashcan of scandals that have arisen, and his own treatment by a constituency association that stitched him and others up knowing all the while who their candidate would be. The final straw has been the new FM’s attempted demotion of Kate Forbes, and the cronyism he’s now fully woken up to.

I’ll have lunch with him next week, and I’ll see if he’s up for direct action to declare a Banffshire Soviet.

To be fair to the shagger, she did call him a failure & trash his & the parties record on live tv. That’s not a great move for your short term career prospects, especially when all the signs were you were going to lose.

I can’t see Katie Shankland being out the picture for long though
