We're all quite happy to watch our teams do virtually anything to win, but are outraged when opponents do the same. In the middle of this are the officials who get all the hassle from all sides.
The FA could stop it in no time, as FIFA did in the world cup, but they are more interested in money than actually running the game.
The Championship is full of basket- case clubs for whom relegation would be a disaster due to the huge debts they've all run up.
    Not all.

Even Rotherham lose money, it’s just our debt is a lot less than most.
So when the media says we are a well run club from a financial perspective we’re not really. What they really mean we,re not a basket case as someone else has said but we’re still a loss making business over the long term.
Our owner subsidises the football side of his business via his other assets.
He probably doesn’t need to when we sell players for significant sums (Ajayi / Vaulks) but we haven’t done that in quite a while now.
The Barlaser income immediately went out of the door

The concept of VAR is probably right in principle but the reality is that it can never be 100% correct because crucial decisions are still made by human beings who are fallible.
The fact that it is only used in the Premier League and for a handful of Cup games is making football even more unequal and you could argue that refereeing standards have also fallen because they know they have the safety net of VAR to fall back on when they make a decision.
I'm pretty sure VAR is here to stay (at the highest level anyway) but Howard Webb and his team have a hell of a job on their hands to sort out all the problems with it.

I like the goal line technology we have at the nys so perhaps leave it at that. It’s one of the most important decisions and perhaps virtually infallible?
It’s bad enough glancing at the ref / Lino sometimes to see if a goal will stand. Waiting for 2/3 minutes to see if the Millers have scored or not would not be very enjoyable
