Also Jodi Jones and Archie Mair loans end.

How many more of those above would we want to keep regardless. You can't say Ruben, he's a given and I think there's a good chance we'll see the last of him even with promotion.
Someone missed the Christmas pressie! Palmer signed another couple of years on Christmas day

Cameron and Nemane are essential. I think if we go up, we'll get a new keeper.

I also think Williams rates Vincent and he'd be a fantastic squad player, whether he'd sign is another matter.

I've ignored Ruben because I don't think he'll stay regardless but I couldn't blame him, he's way above league 2

We need to give Scott a contract extension, otherwise he will go the same way as Wootton and Rodders.. Next season will be his last.

Based on a few of his interviews, I think Ruben is certainly interested in sticking around, especially if we go up. But it's almost certain his agent will be encouraging a move, and it wouldn't surprise me if that's who LW was referring to in one of his recent pressers regarding 'outside voices'.

    Slightly mixed feelings about this:

Delighted the club are once again doing their (internal) business nice and early, and without doubt he deserves a contract extension at any level after the season he has had. He's the model pro.

However personally I would have preferred a one year extension, especially if we are successful this season. He's obviously benefited from Nemane the Menace on the other wing, hence all those goals. But LW clearly knows his stuff so I trust his judgement. Seriously who doesn't?

He's well liked and rightly so but 'cult hero' status?!?! Sayyyy whattt?

A very good point , well made. I was certainly one of the "everyone" when it came to the JOB contract extension.

LW knows so much more than all of us collectively so I trust his calls on his players that he sees in training and on match days.

Good news for me, mainly because of the Luke Williams factor. Under Ardley, Chicksen was 'Adam who'? We barely saw him. In Chicksen and Nemane, Luke Williams has transformed players who were basically a left back and a right winger into a couple of wing backs who have been sensational for different reasons. Chicksen defends better than he attacks but has scored an amazing number of goals. Nemane isn't a natural defender but does his bit, and even though he doesn't score many he creates loads. If we do go up, I think both will be more than capable in League 2.
