    Every now and then

We give Spurs a thumping,we put seven past them in one of KKs last games before he left the first time.

We put five past them in the cup the night Shearer and Big Dunc were unplayable.

Five past Pochetinos team the season we were relegated and Mitrovic was sent off.

Now this six,Spurs fans must think we are a bogey team.As far back as the Spurs double team the first to win League and Cup in the 20th century,we still beat them at White Hart Lane when Dave Hollins saved a pen from Danny Blanchflower their captain.

With that title, I thought you were going to sing, Total Eclipse Of The Heart,
Apparently we beat Spurs because they were terrible. The press forgot that they were terrible because of the way we started, Flew out of the traps and battered them, drained any confidence out of them. Won the game after 9 minutes.

    Every now and then?

Every now and then I get a little bit lonely And you're never coming 'round
    (Turn around)
Every now and then I get a little bit tired Of listening to the sound of my tears
    (Turn around)
Every now and then I get a little bit nervous That the best of all the years have gone by
    (Turn around)
Every now and then I get a little bit terrified And then I see the look in your eyes

    hahahaha

there was a good article on precisely these points in 'The Mag'.

It's just the way it's gonna be. It's the fake news machine trying to control the narrative. Barely any podcasts outside of NUFC podcasts commented on it or spent time analysing the most dominant performance of ANY team in ANY fixture of the 22/23 season. Sure City scored 6 in the 6-0 home thrashing of Forest but that's Forest who are 17th. Man City beat the red filth 6-3 again a decent result but shipped 3 and were didn't crush or humiliate the filth like we did Spudz.

Typical. Just stick to wor'sels lads f**k-um all we're finishing 3rd

Good point. If you think about it this, again, confirms what Conte said. The only explanation is a lack of heart among the players. Put the pressure on Spurs and they respond badly (for them).
It’s a dream for an opposition coach.
