What makes you think this hasn’t been going on for years BT - I mean really ?

There isn’t a honest person among them , they’ve been at it forever - just now they’ve got caught several times as their confidence in deception and lies and embezzlement was going into overdrive.

My grandson came for his tea last week and had a question posed by his teacher for homework in "Political Studies" or some other bollox. He had to provide a one-word answer to describe our current government.

I said, "mendacious". His teacher said, "tremendous" and gave him the class prize. Mendacious indeed.

It is interesting to note the growth of parties within EU countries which, while not calling for the further break up of the EU, are openly disenchanted with Europe’s open borders and the effects of endless waves of immigration. I suspect to some extent the difficulties which Britain has faced since Brexit have been as a direct consequence of a desire to discourage other nations from following the UK and also departing what the suits of Brussels refer to as “our European family”. Chances of such a breakup have also been diminished by the threat posed along its eastern border by Putin’s rogue Russia.

Less than 100 years ago Stalin decided to implement a policy of the deportation of Ukraine's rich peasant class (kulaks) and instigated the collectivization of the remainder leading to the deaths of around 9 million people. (Rees - Auschwitz). In 1939 the Germans managed to murder 28 million Russians in between 1939 - 1945.

Can anyone seriously blame Putin for wanting a buffer zone between the FSU and NATO's European political and military advances anymore than anyone could possibly blame Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Zelenskyy for wanting to keep the Russians out?

Never mind bloody "Bullseye" Sir Outwood get ringing up some serious diplomats.
