    Terrible move.

    Obviously lacking the “big boy pants” needed to prove himself to Pep.

    He’ll live to regret this move from a trophy winning perspective.

    I remember when we spent 800k on Micky Adams and thought we were big spenders.....oh and Matt Carbon!! Big buys they were

    Micky Adams??

    I don’t think so.

    Micky Evans we bought for £750k and he scored 6 in 66 after averaging a goal every 4 games for Plymouth and Southampton ( thereabouts )

    Another stellar signing we lost £500k on in no time.

    Quite right Mick. Evans it was, not Adams.

    Was it James Quinn we signed around the same time? Seem to remember he put the shift in while Evans rolled his lardy @rse around the field. Don't remember Quinn scoring many either

    Yep……Quinn always worked his nuts off but barely had a goal in him.
