We are already lagging behind the rest of league one as all the other clubs are strengthening ready for the new season and we can’t get a manager in place to start things off!
Now they have recycled that bloody awful home shirt, I’m starting to think we might get Asbhagi, Schlopp or Morais back, with the immortal line to the fans “he has unfinished business”.

One thing Khaled said was that they had planned for all eventualities - meaning, whoever leaves and whatever league we are in.

It’s obviously the objective to get into the Championship.
But once in the Championship the players will probably cost more to bring in and wages will be higher.
So if you say we can’t compete in the 1st Division - then what chances have we in the Championship?
The club must have plans to solve this.
Khaled is winging it YN .

We are looking at a £5m shortfall this coming season , that looks to me like operational costs .

The £6m rights issue last season merely got the club through the season , paid its way so to speak .

Clearly the club needs at least £5m coming in through transfer fees this summer , could be achievable if indeed Mads , Styles and possibly Connell are sold on .

I'd be amazed if the club bought a player for money this summer , looking like last summer with players coming in who ran their contracts down and loans .

The club is now in feeling the full force of losing its championship status and not returning at the first time of asking .

This is now the new reality on Grove Street , players once sold on to create a transfer budget is no more , players sold on today merely keeps the club running .

The model operated by the club can now be seen for what it really is , a total failure .

I say the failure of the club's model but I think I'm more inclined to go with the idiots tasked with operating the model and the complete lack of investment required to give the model a modicum of a chance .

If this coming season goes as I expect it to go and is a very average campaign then I believe the ownership may start to feel some heat from disgruntled fans .

Struggling and relegated from the championship is one thing but struggling in league one is quite another and totally unacceptable .
Could be summarised as it was "Promotion Sh1t or Bust" in 22/23.

My understanding of "Promotion, Sh1t or Bust" is along the lines of-----

Promotion achieved. Sh1t time. The turds flow easily, comfortably and satisfyingly. The Head Coach stays being enthused at the prospect of the new season. Players look to stay, loan players return. Increased income and better prospects attracts two or three decent players. Supporters full of optimism at taking on Leeds, Southampton etc, plenty of Yorkshire derbies.

Promotion not achieved. Bust time, not in the sense of administration but the turds are lodged, constipated, the bowels rumble and eventually an explosion occurs pebble dashing the immediate locality. Financial chickens come home to roost, financial reserves spent, share issues spent, ST money spent, Tv income down from £9 million to £2million EFL Covid loans to be paid, Crynes expecting second instalment of purchase of club. Player sales weaken squad and reduce chance of promotion, Head Coach and Assistant leave at first opportunity. Supporters become frustrated as expectations not met.

Missed out on the easy bit ,getting Barnsley out of Lge 1 ( too good for Lge 1 struggle in the champ) and choked at Wembley v a very average Sheff W, so good luck Swans back to being average.

The club still runs through Redders veins , not sure I entirely agree with his comments but I totally get the emotion behind them so fair play .

If ever there was a Director Of Football vacancy at Oakwell then Redders is it .

Concentrate on the business side Khaled and leave the football side to those that know this game and this club .

I'd say Long Haul Mick probably had it coming Poggy .

I wouldn't have attacked his football personally I'd have attacked his hypocrisy .
