This is from Mr Hobbs who seems genuinely gutted to have lost his "dream job". Some nice commiserations from the Notts faithful as well.

Just to be clear, Kyle, I'm not criticising you for posting your concerns, nor suggesting you have any agenda. It's perfectly normal if you hear whispers like this to share them with other fans - it's what football message boards are about - and on this occasion it just happened to be you reporting these rumours first. We shouldn't be shooting the messenger, just discussing the content and deciding for ourselves whether we give it any credence.
It's data analytics. Once they have a model set up, it will probably be automated. We have a camera system at Notts that gives us live analytics for the coaching staff. If that is doing it live, you don't need a human to analyse, or many anyway so that data feeds directly into a model.
As someone who understands some of the stuff in that world, any human analysis comes with bias. Just look at each and every ratings thread on here! Anywhere you can automate means that your data is consistent (it may still have bias but it's consistent) so the aim is to automate as soon as possible, which sadly means job losses when that happens.
Now to the glassdoor stuff. I was "encouraged" by the corporate arm of my employer to review on glassdoor as where my colleagues, even though we aren't unhappy, they wish they hadn't had asked us!
The fact we are signing players like McGoldrick, getting a PA system of high quality, I'm not at all worried. People are upset at losing jobs, of course it is horrible, but they will vent
I’m assuming the redundancies are at FR. It’s not surprising as it’s much cheaper now to outsource these services and there are there our thousands of ‘analysts’ providing services including match data tagging etc from their own spare bedrooms.
Let’s be right, every football club in the world is just a bad decision or unfortunate incident away from catastrophe. No need to worry about stuff you can’t control, the club appears to be in the best place it’s been for a looong time, let’s just enjoy it while we can.

My thoughts exactly.
As jackal2 said earlier
"From where I'm standing now, what I can see is a club that has made leaps and bounds under the current ownership and seems intent on continuing to do so, and unless and until I see compelling evidence to the contrary, I'm very supportive of the current owners. I can't really see why I wouldn't be in the current circumstances."
Neither can I, I've only noticed 1 or 2 of regulars on here who aren't supportive.
I see the ncm whips are busy 😄
