    I remember going to see Tommy Tiernan at the Playhouse in the last week or so before lockdown after thinking very long and very hard about whether going was the right thing to do. Very nearly didn't and on balance shouldn't have done. Lots and lots of empty seats (no shows, not not-sold, judging by their location and distribution), so there was some accidental social distancing. Good show, but a weird atmosphere... as if everyone knew something serious was brewing.

    I might be misremembering, but I think I recall a lower than usual attendance at County's last home game before lockdown?

    ... for those who believe WEF meetings are just a talking shop, carry on; that's exactly what WEF members would want you to think. Decisions about commercial interests aren't discussed in the open. If the WEF forum didn't work for attendees, they wouldn't bother going. The politicians who go to WEF meetings are simply hanging on to the coat tails of the significant influencers. A good example of this is Bliar, in the guise of the Tony Blair Institute seeking to ingratiate himself with all and sundry ...
