    TV ratings

    Tin Foil Hat time.....

I know it's one game in the season but just saw that we had the highest rated TV ratings in 6 years for the EFL. Most teams would think that is great news but I do wonder what the EFL does to ensure we stay in the EFL. Not that we need much help with some of our board room decisions.

    Poor Officiating
    Marginal FFP rulings
    Excess fines, penalties and cards
    Heavy scheduling.

I know it's crazy to think but given the corruption and incompetence of the FA/EFL it's not as implausible as I'd like to think.

I'll take my tin foil hat off now.

Honestly, thought the ref and overall officiating was much more palatable than the PL. He let a lot of stuff go, didn't give soft penalties and absolutely zero VAR which was brilliant.

He made some errors but nothing glaring, linesman did a brilliant job as well and we didn't have to sit through 20 minutes of them drawing lines

Agreed and the game flows better as a result too as you don’t have stupid breaks which stop attacking momentum.

He was OK, got in the way of the ball a couple of times too many (always a Leeds pass) and he needs to read about the new time wasting rules

They got the rub of the green I thought. Just coincidence that though.....
What happens to Leeds with officials and EFL is incredible. Not possible to always be misfortune imo.
But I agree it was more palatable than premier league.
