That was the worst refereeing performance I have seen in many a season. I thought Bobby Madley had a good opening game IMO

Saying sorry after the fact doesn't mean anything.....winkers...
Have they cancelled the 2nd yellow then....so what's the point?
Two games two apologies
****ers
He wont dare if hes at a big team footy ground. At least not for the home team. Get ya mortgage on it...
Could they put their apologies into a more tangible form. Thought not. Off you trot!
Apologies are the new Green Shield Stamps.... get a thousand and they still won't redeem you a point. They don't want us in div 2 and they know exactly what they're doing...
Being able to appeal Yellow cards would be a start and would help us get Fred in the squad for Saturday. But more importantly, apologies after the fact don't change the fact that we lost 2 points against Blackburn and possibly a come-back point against Stoke. There has to be something more tangible that benefits the club.
I mentioned this on an earlier thread, but the only possible positive move I can see the EFL making is to give a credit for every erroneous Yellow card. For instance, Matt Taylor would now have two credits (Cafu and Fred) and a rule could be introduced which would allow him to use those credits 'live' in any future game to rule out a Yellow that the Ref awarded.
It may be seen as disadvantaging the opposition, but if applied consistently, it would surely balance itself out across the season.
At least we'd feel we'd gained some recompense for the injustice done to us by substandard officials!
The EFL might consider it to be good idea if the misdemeanour had happened to Stoke or Blackburn
But as it happened to Rotherham it’s probably not worth considering
