    Thank you ESR.

Nothing on the dedicated section of the Official Website.

Which site is this information from ?

Anyway a good run out for the women and Wallsend were probably relieved the game was abandoned as we may well have equalised and got the winner.

I shall look out for the Match Report and other news on the Official Website this week including the build up to the Bradford away game next Sunday.

Go Well JAQ's Red Army !

Match was abandoned due to rain.

They had to get home to get the washing in 🫣

I have to say I am very disappointed at the Barnsley board and Media Department for their lack of coverage of the Women's Team on the dedicated section of the Official Website. (Go to the Official Website, click on "News", scroll down to "Women's Team News")

Having assured the fan base that, " If you want to get all the latest news from the women's camp we have a dedicated section on our website", then it is disrespectful of the status our Women's Team playing under the name "Barnsley FC" and fully integrated into the club to not have a single piece of news on the Official Website about the Women's Team since last Sunday. There was no Match Report on Barnsley FC 0 Alnwick 2 , no build up to the Wallsend game and no Match Report or news of the dramatic events at Wallsend, where an electrical storm of biblical proportions caused a sudden abandonment of the game with Wallsend leading 1-0.

I have yet again applauded Khaled and Julie for their superb work in setting up the new team. I know they will be keenly watching the team's progress and be as alarmed as I am at the lack of coverage on the Official Website as promised. There is no doubt an IT glitch in getting any news onto the dedicated section of the Official Website and once that is sorted the coverage will flow. Once again thanks to Khaled and Julie for your continued excellent work and I know you will share my frustration at not seeing the Women's Team get high profile coverage on the Official Website, at least equal to the Men's Team. I know I should relax and "let it go" but this continues to gnaw at me as it shows disrespect and a broken promise, which is not the way Khaled operates. This past weekend would have been an ideal opportunity to keep the profile of the team high as the Men had no game.
    A disappointed Red.

    Go Well JAQ's Women's Team !

I note the Loyal Pack are defending the lack of coverage saying the Women "have their own separate website and social media presence".

They should have their news included in their own dedicated section under the news section on the main Official Website as promised and not shunted away elsewhere.

As Khaled and JAQ have insisted they are an integral part of the club's structure and play under the name Barnsley FC. The U21's do not have a separate website, nor should the women.

As Brian Clough once said to his Derby players in the dressing room prior to facing the great Leeds United team of the 1970s- "John Mcgovern and Billy Bremner, equals. Kevin Hector and Johnny Giles, equals. Alan Hinton and Peter Lorimer, equals. John O'Hare and Paul Madeley?" The team then bellowed in unison "EQUALS."

I will leave the matter in the good hands of Julie and Khaled in the knowledge they will tan some arses in the Media Dept to get the Women the coverage they deserve and were promised on the main Official Club Website, not shunted off to some Instagram/ Twitter X/ Facebook site or wherever.
