I have to admit that my forecast of a 3-1 loss may have been slightly wrong. That swishing sound you can hear is the sound of bookies rubbing their hands together when they see me appearing over the horizon.

That first half was magical and when you think that Swindon is the dark horse (there I go again!) in the promotion stakes (!) it was an impressive display more in keeping with Notts galloping (oh, dear) past the other runners (I can't help it) last season.

I’ll give them all a 9 for a technical masterclass in the first half and showing resilience in the second.
LW set us up differently from the start. Nemane and JJ didn’t get ahead of the play until we were well into their half. They stayed much deeper and supported the attacks rather than always being ahead of the ball.

Was so impressed with the team performance and enjoyed the game so much that I didn't really stop and think about match ratings after the game.

I would say our top performers were McGoldrick, Crowley, Cameron, followed by Mr Consistent Palmer and the always energetic Langstaff .

Obviously only saw online but I thought Cameron was immense and I only saw one error from Baldwin in the first half as well.

I've noticed that we're exposed to more dangerous 1-on-1 situations down our right-side than left.
On the left, there can be other problems for KC (sometimes with challenges/passes/communication), but you rarely see him struggling to contain an attacker. I think this is because he has really strong positional sense and intelligent reading of the game. These are great strengths to have for a defender and a good foundation to have while tidying up that other stuff.
