We have had morebcases of serious injuries this season so far than we have had prob had in last 10! Ive never known owt like it in all my time watching the millers. The problem is we are just waiting for the next one now. Anybody potentially signing for us in jan is going to be put off by our clubs injury record. Why would they come to a club which is likely to knacker them up .

Summatnl aint right and wants serious investigation. We cant blame it all on black cats and broken mirrors.

Hirst was badly managed at Rotherham, there was always talent there but we failed to get it out of him.
As for Davis doing proper interviews, don't make me laugh he won't stir up anything because he needs the feeds, so many football journalists rely on good relations to get a story, they wouldn't know how to dig and create a proper story they just act as mouth pieces for whoever pays their bar bill.
If we have lost Hall again that is an enormous blow, there is clearly something wrong in the way we operate the fitness and coaching to have these many injuries, unless MT has broken twenty mirrors it is not just bad luck, there is always a cause. The idea of the international break is to get players fit and use it as a rest period (training that is relevant to recovery and tactics) not risk losing more. I have said it before that the executive need to take this issue away from the management and have an independent review carried out into the way the players are looked after from a fitness perspective, other clubs have done this it is common sense if a critical area of your business is failing to take action and bring in fresh professional eyes. We can sit back and talk about hindsight and bad luck, feeling sorry for ourselves but that will only end one way, questions need to be asked and the club needs to address this issue. Although I don't think signing the players we did helped, that is not the only issue. A difficult situation and one i hope that TS and the executive try to address.
Good post Derby especially about having an independant review regarding fitness issues which, as you say, you have mentioned before. Paul Warne got some stick on here regarding the amount of injuries we were picking up under him, but we are playing differently under MT by at least attempting to keep the ball for longer, and not to press teams as hard, as we did under PW, but we are still picking up a lot of injuries and not just of the players we would expect so something needs to be done to see if that can be addressed.

Oh hang on a minute I’m sure miracles do actually work.

Seriously though I’m sure if you ask nicely then they would let you spend time around the players/training ground and sort next game out to get that win

Btw Rathbone is one card away from a suspension, add that to MT list of blames
I never understand why you make things about another poster and don't just make your point about the issue being discussed, I know you don't use a name but you refer to "you" clearly aimed at a specific person. Firstly, I agree with you that he is in a very difficult situation not having his full squad available, we all have our various views on that situation. Secondly, for me it isn't about whether we think he should be judged or not, it is whether his employers think he should be judged at this stage, I am only stating that I think they might see the next three games as a decision making time, you may disagree. I do think the post earlier that talks about 9 wins in 46 games is an important statistic and one that cannot be ignored. Personally I do not want to see him go at the moment, he should be given the opportunity to improve things over the next 8 to 10 games, that would give a new man a few games before the window opens again. I do think he is trying to do the right things, but he has to be judged on the outcome of his decisions, like every other manager.

I agree Derby and I like MT and really want him to do well but if your scenario did happen, that would be 1 win this season and 9 out of 50 odd over a calendar year.No Board of Directors can over look that,no matter what league you are in. With Gary Rowett now having no club and stating that one of the several reasons why he left Millwall was because he had been away from his family for 4 years,TS maybe already thinking of possibilities!

Who or what takes the blame for the situation we are in now? Do we use most of our budget up on certain players then have to make do on rest of the signings? Don't need long posts to see what's wrong with recruitment this season.

Not sure about that Perigord. He seems quite happy to tell the world that Grant Hall is injured.......again.

It was to Uttis, not sure why I didn’t quote his post like previously but surely if you’re reading them then that would’ve been clear?
I’m not happy about the games but I’m trying to see the bigger picture with all injuries
Personally I think TS is understanding about the situation but I’m not stupid enough to think he won’t get rid if things don’t Improve in his time limit

It is always worth remembering when discussing our injuries that ALL clubs have to submit a 25 man squad so the 'bigger squad' argument is put to bed there and then. The 'better squad'' argument is a different matter and that is where our recruitment abilities need to be looked at with regards to signing players with awful track records with games played over recent seasons.Other clubs have injuries too......we are not alone. These are factors that may well be mitigated against MT if results don't improve over the next month.

I think we'd all like some explanation as to why we get so many of the same type of injuries (predominantly hamstrings) and why some of our players immediately cry off when they "feel a bit of tightness" or "feel a bit of an ache."
If the manager isn't concerned about these issues, he should be.
Also don't forget that MT asked for, and got, a significant investment to bring the training pitches up to the same standard as the NYS pitch and this was supposed to alleviate the persistent injury problems. It hasn't and if anything, the situation has become worse.
Something just isn't right and it can't all be down to bad luck.

How many times have we won Ipswich 1-0? I think it’s time we did better and make it 2-0 now

    Come onnnn
