    Bruno

Lost his head a wee bit yesterday.

In all honesty, I thought he should have been sent off for that forearm-if it had been the other way round I would have been shouting from the rooftops about 'big club bias'.

Couple of other very unnecessary challenges, particularly the shove in the back. I love the fact that he's a shithouse and that he's our shithouse-we haven't had one since, say, Cabaye? Barton? But, I do worry that he's going to get himself a reputation that will see him get a bit too much focus from referees, leading to more cards. Or that he might continue to play on the edge and get a straight red-with all the focus on yesterday's match and the sunsequent attention he'll subsequently gain, you couldn't see him getting away with something like that again.

He's banned for our next game-bad enough at any time but especially with our current injuries.

I don't want to take that edge away from him but maybe he needs to, I dunno, make better choices sometimes? I wonder if Eddie might have a quiet word?

    Thoughts? Perhaps I'm over-reacting.

He was lucky not to get sent off! He lost his head big time and we need him to cut that out of his game. Throwing a forearm at Jorginho is unacceptable. He was lucky to get away with that. Could and probably should have been a straight red and 3 game ban. Eddie also confirmed that.

It's a matter of maturity. He's a passionate guy and that's why we love him & why he's such a great player. However, with a little more experience in the top top pressure matches in the Champions League & against the very very top Premier League he'll have more control over his emotions.

The rat Havertz has to go for that dangerous tackle. Had the Ref done his job and shipped the cheating Kraut Bruno and the other lads wouldn't have been so wound up and I don't think he would have reacted to Jorginho's & others persistent fouling.
We will never see consistency whilst there is 'open to interpretation' as part of refereeing. The Rules are 'subject to interpretation' which means they are 'Guidelines' not 'Rules'.

The Ref lost control of the match throw 3 yellows at NUFC players as I believe this is the new tactic to derail us. Get as many of our players suspended for upcoming matches to weaken the squad.

One thing's for sure, Eddie will have his arm round Bruno and the whole staff of coaches and the new additions of the sport psychologist will iron out these issues with all our players.

Great win, even if controversial. When you look at the stats, you see they only had 1 shot on target all match. That's the fact of the matter.

The whole point is that when playing calmly, he has so much class and ability that he doesn't need to play tricks to get into the refs bad books.

Just like Cabaye he didn't need to take liberties, he was more than good enough without that in his game.

He definitely did Zip, looked like he was frustrated at the Havertz decision and never calmed down till he got the yellow card.

It wasn’t a forearm smash, looked (to me) like an elbow ‘buggy’ where he had his elbow on his head before his put any reassure in and just dig his elbow in… was a yellow but nothing more.

Jorginho went down like he’d been shot.
When Bruno did get a yellow card, Viera put his hands to his eyes to con the ref… the replays show he went nowhere near his eyes… that’s dishonest as f**k and simulation should be stamped down on.

Aye, that sort of cheating should be punished retrospectively. It's pathetic.

There's clearly not the will to do it, though, as it can be easily shown through replays.

Not a red for me but we’ve all seen them given. Bruno and Joelinton need to calm down sometimes. Always those two that look like getting sent off.

The cynic in me says there is no will because nine times out of ten it's a "big" club player doing it and "they" don't want stuff like that looked at.

Agreed Bruno lost his head today and should of been off. I think had Havertz been sent off he'd of been a different player but the fact it was made clear to Le Arse players that they could cross the line and wouldn't get punished made our boys go to the line as well.

I'm amazed the game ended with no reds to be honest.

He pushed Viera in the chest below neck height, wasn't even a yellow card offense but accumulation he deserved one.

Play acting and cheating like this should be punished retrospectively by the League on review. Any cards give should be down graded. Like in Rugby or Aussie Rules.

    It won't happen though.
