Thread: When will the penny drop!

  1. #11
This mentality of it will be alright if we go down actually fcking irritates me.
There are Championship teams would give their right knacker to get promoted, they have been trying for years. How many play offs have PNE cocked up?
We should not be treating this as "it's ok, we will just bounce back up"
We should have bought players to ensure we survive... Bull **** this presuming we will have a easy passage back. We got lucky with 3/4 players that played on another level that gelled and had team balance.
We will loose 5/6 players on relegation, then another roll of the dice with recruitment that may fail much like this season.
So forget all this "it's alright, we will bounce back" BS.

It is only relegation to The Championship and not the National League and, with 26 games still to play, not one of us, or anybody else for that matter, can say which three teams will be relegated.
In other words, don't worry about it because it's only a game and whatever happens, it won't be the end of the world.

To be honest, there is possibly more to worry about off the field than on it, however, once again, none of us know!
