I do not envisage when the time comes that there will be any problem finding a buyer for Beyer maybe even Bayer (Leverkusen) will be interested.

I hope we do not sell him but look to shift some of the surplus to requirement player we have. Then look to adding a couple to the mix if the right players are available for the right dosh. Look at the money coming in the new TV deal it's really nuts!! How much do Accrington Stanley get heh??

My thoughts as well CiB, they're rumours, there are dozens surfacing every day in December. I'll start to worry when someone puts in a £30 million plus bid for Beyer, until then it's just another rumour.

My problem with the rumour mill is it can and often does unsettle a player.

They are not oblivious to outside noise and other clubs know that.

If players are unsettled by rumours, then something like 60/70 % of PL players will currently be unsettled. The rumour mill goes into overdrive at the approach of every window, nothing to be done about it and nothing to worry about either. All part of the daily life of a professional footballer.

I have every faith in Alan Pace to do what is best for Burnley Football Club.

What the heck is he going to do with Foster?

Who knows mon ami, only time will tell, but while he may recover, I would worry that this sort of illness always leaves some sort of mark and he may never be able to cope with the life of a professional footballer, especially in a foreign country. Hopefully he makes it back, we'll just have to give him time and see what pertains.

I hope we either have a good medical team who can get him playing again or a watertight insurance policy. If we are on a revival pity he is not currently part of it.
