It's a learning curve and now the world can see that he is a top manager and not a one trick pony, the top jobs will fall into his lap.
Now on the other hand Kompany will more than likely follow Stevie G into the Saudi league

Alan Pace rocked the boat, got lucky, but now the enterprise is holed below the plimsoll line and we are sinking fast.
