It will run its course as it did at Burnley and they’ll shout for his head eventually, in the ridiculous world of football.

It’s a cycle with Sean and you can only motivate for so long - good luck to him while it lasts toffees on a wave of high at minute and probably for next 12-18 months or so.

Then it won’t be enough I don’t think - he has better players at the minute than he did at Burnley - but he only wants and attracts certain types of player - interesting to see where it goes.

I just don't see it army, certainly he was operating under financial constraints at Burnley and this influenced his signings, but I don't see only a certain type of player when I look at the list of players he's signed. How would you categorise the following 10 Dyche signings ?

Michael Kightly, George Boyd, Andre Gray, David Jones, Steven Defour, Aaron Lennon, Robbie Brady, Peter Crouch, Jay Rodriguez, Josh Brownhill.

Sean Dyche was and is a very good manager. Any club would be lucky to have him

Dyche was categorised, incorrectly, as a 'certain type' of manager. He was virtually unemployable in the PL as a result. He was lucky to get the Everton job, they had run out of options and desperate times called for desperate measures. Under normal circumstances, say 3/4 years ago, he wouldn't have even been close to their short-list.

Never in a million years would the English FA appoint SD. He's just not their type.

I would imagine squeaky clean, steady Eddie from Newcastle is next on their list.
