Wood scored 7 so far this year. 4 in the last two games and 1 assist. Team of the week last week and probably again this week.
Seems like someone has put the effort in to teach him the offside rule since he left us… hardly ever in offside any more.![]()
I’ve just watched the latest episode of the Magpies slide down the table. If you had known nothing about these two teams, you would honestly have thought Forest were the team in the top 6.
Putting it in a nutshell, Eddie’s boys were useless , squandering a one goal lead, then allowing Wood all the time and space he needed, to get his three goals.I think I could have done the same.
Question marks will be raised against Howe and his team, whilst alongside the Trent, they’ll probably be expecting more of the same, as the New Year gets underway.
Make no mistake, Forest deserved their win and this will give them confidence. As for Howe and his under achievers,, the pressure will mount. Forget the injuries situation, it’s a squad game these days.Out of Europe, out of the Carabao Cup , beaten by Luton ,and sliding down the table. Not what the Saudis expected.

Chris has only started 6 PL games for Forest this season and has come on as sub in 11 games, one of which he came on for 6 minutes and scored the winner.
In total he has played 641 minutes and scored 7 goals with 1 assist, Not bad for a team which has scored just 22 league goals all season.
Newcastle we’re still poor today. You know it, I know it, and Eddie Howe definitely knows it. This is not what the Saudis had in mind when they turned up with a licence to print money. I still maintain I could have scored all three goals. They haven’t been the same since NP had a long term injury. Howe will be under the microscope soon, for the reasons I stated in my previous post.
I always think of Tindall being the Donald Trump of Association Football.
