Moreover who would be better to manage us right now?

Successful teams are stable teams, settled teams. That leads to consistency and success.
    Exactly. End of story.

Alonso...? Give me a fu(king break. When hes honeymoon with Leverkusen is over its the same thing.

More rightly, we can discuss that when we need a new manager. Wich we dont need right now. Now we just got to stick together. We can point fingers, at players performace and manager or recruitment decsisions, but its not the time to call for heads. Not even players heads. We can say they are shoite, and shouldnt be in the team, but we all seen this season that we need every single body available.

Burn, Longstaff and Almiron for the bench - YES! Howe to set us up pressing with a highe line again, and run the crap out of our oposition. But we need them all, on the bench and in the the doug out.

Might be an unpopular position, but i'd like to see us finish 8th. As high as we can go without qualifying for Europe as i want to see if Eddie can win us a domestic trophy.

    We're currently 9th.

I agree that ‘Jack of all trades and master of none’ in competitions isn’t good but if we have high ambitions then we need to be winning a lot of money each season to develop the squad asap - that means PL and CL.

Aye, it's a catch 22 situation in a way, but winning that first trophy since 1969 would give the club and fans such a lift. Was it Man City's third season after take-over, they won theirs?

I can't begin to imagine what that moment-when the final whistle blows and we've actually won something-would feel like,

Well, I can begin to imagine but then I get a bit of dust in my eye...

3 or 4 after their 2nd take over. They got Bouygues out by that Thai guy first. People don't seem to mention the money he threw at City before Sheikh Mansour assumed control.

Highest ever expected goals against tonight. Midfield structure is not getting any better - it may actually be getting worse. Defence is all over the place. We started Dan Burn against Mo Salah. We are in a rut and I can’t see any visible signs that Eddie has us improving or coming out the other side. Very, very worrying with the mackems up next, followed by City and Villa. If we lose all 3, I can’t see Eddie surviving the chop. If we do lose all 3, I would argue he would deserve it.

    Thoughts?

Howe does need to sort this out, I think he’s can turn it around, not having calling for his head, we need players in quick we still have nothing to come off the bench. We need to get top quality loans in if we can stipend money.

    Disagree, man.

Granted, mistakes have been made, but this, for me, is down to our horrendous injuries. Not only can we not field our best players regularly, meaning we can't get any rhythm or momentum, it's affected our ability to prepare properly for games or make necessary changes during games.

As fans, we need to hold our nerve and get behind Eddie, not desert him the first time things go wrong. He deserves better than that.

I think he'd lose more fans, but i don't think his position will be in danger until the end of the season when everything is reviewed by the owners. They'll either back him (which they already have) or sack him, i personally hope he turns things around.
