    VAR Question.

    Last night in the first leg of the EFL CUP Semi Final between Middlesbrough Vs Chelsea no VAR if VAR was present I believe Middlesbrough would have been awarded a Penalty.Will VAR be present at Chelsea for the 2nd Leg. If so do you think that’s fair.

    VAR isn't been used in the EFL cup until the final.

    It would've been used in the semis if it had been four Premier League teams, but as a Championship club is still involved it's not been used in any of them to maintain fairness and consistency across all four games.

    The same should apply in the FA Cup in my opinion.
