On that basis, Jimmy Sirrel was nothing special. He had the luxury of Masson, Needham, Stubbs and Bradd etc.

I prefer to remember it differently.

“It’s a collective lack of guts by successive coaches.
Sorry but for me ,Williams doesn’t cut it.“

And we all thought Notts fans were bad. What’s that 3 games?

Although I’ll have a look at our comments if Maynard struggles!!!

Whatever the team what he they did was very special. I just don’t get it with you, seeing you go to all the away games he turned around our dreadful away form to the best in the league by a country mile making it worth clocking up all those miles and we had one of the greatest days out in our history at Wembley and all you can do is berate the bloke.

Durham's Law of Football: "If the team does well it's because of the players, if the team struggles it is because of the manager"

Were any of them up against that Wrexham team as well ????

    Ardley at York
Burchnall now a coach at Wolves
LW at a championship club as head coach.

Now tell me who is in the better position at this moment.

By March you are going to slating Maynard its nailed on

Hopefully LW can turn it round but they're away at Leicester on Tuesday.

Jimmy signed his own players having gone to watch them. LW had them given to him on a plate. So there's no comparison.

God forbid I get misunderstood and you lot think I'm backing Durham, however Ardley and Burchnall haven't proved anything since they left Notts. Ardley did ok at Solihull for a while with good funding, but then when the funding was pulled, it went Pete Tong - I do like Ardley though.

Burchnall - well he must have some contacts who get him photos of club owners in compromising positions. I can't see for the life of me what anyone sees in him. He's so bleddy lifeless.

Bournemouth v Swansea City FA Cup Match day Thread on 21:14 - Jan 25 by ReslovenSwan1

This is a brutal audit of the pseudo Martin / Williams ball with 3 at the back and two high up the field full backs.

They are using a risky game style with novices who are not even Swansea players. Allen Grimes and Fulton do not have the necessary quick feet and getting their pockets picked at will.

    Agreed.
Just now,we saw aimless sideways backwards and sideways passing only for the ball to go back to Fish who boots it into touch .
    Thought we d learned.
I’m getting bad vibes from Williams

Couple of Swans’ fans getting worked up.

They need to give it time.
