That’s 1 point from 3 games for LW now, with more tough games to come. Swansea are 8 points above the drop zone - I hope for old time’s sake he scrapes enough points to keep them up, then gets to rebuild in the summer.
3-1 tonight, and a familiar looking quote from the match report: "Dewsbury-Hall slipped through the Swans’ high defensive line and was allowed all the time in the world to coolly slot home..." and "Leicester’s ability to breach Swansea’s porous-looking backline would be a recurring theme..."

I don't blame him for jumping but possibly a little too far for him right now sadly. It's a shame if it doesn't work out as people will say he's failed in 2 out of 3 jobs and dent his career with Notts being forgotten
Good attacking coach, dreadful defensive one. NL defences were always going to struggle with our system and quality which ment we didn't really need a half decent defence. L2 forwards are more savvy and EFL seasoned than NL ones and found our weak spot. Championship forwards are a different gravy altogether. I think he'll continue to struggle unless he becomes less rigid with the formation.
I hope SM has been working hard on our backline and the new signing is a step in the right direction. If we'd continued with Williams we'd be finishing mid table.
He was very fortunate in that he had a quality side given to him on a plate. Any decent manager would have won the national league with that team, but he didnt have a clue how to solve our defensive problem. He relied on Maccas goals winning us the games.. He will be sacked at Swansea, and will just be another failed coach...
Well Martin Allen was manager at a level above, he was ok- but then at that time any manager was sacked if it did not look like promotion
As for Nolan - even despite losing his best player Yates in January that itself cost us promotion, still finished 5th. This season if you agree that LW has better Owners backing him , and better players than Nolan did, LW maximun position would be 5th, but id say he would have finished lower prob 7th to 10th , he was on a poor run and couldnt sort the problems out, then jumped ship
Mostly the list has been ranked on the level of division in which they managed. Level is of significant importance, often overlooked. Its obvoius to anybody its harder to manage the higher the level, we have seen this already with LW, seen as great at tier 5, move up to tier 4 and suddenly he does not look like pep anymore
Also they were then ranked relative to the level, on usually how well they did, ie play offs, promotion etc
