Incredibly we're now below where Steve Thompson was at this stage of the 2006/07 season on goal difference (they held MKD to a 2-2 in game 35) and only 4 points better off than both Thordarsson was in 2005/06 and Ian Richardson (taking over from Gary Mills) in 2004/05.

This is now Trust era levels of cr@p.
    Love the stat train! :-)

To save face, they could tell us how great Maynard will be in the long term and hire Warnock as his mentor, but that didn't work with Sergeant Wilko.
Well Warnock is a Manager in the true sense - not a head coach. He takes total responsibility for signing and recruiting players etc - so i doubt he would have come to Notts. I think he has turned other clubs down in the past- saying he makes the decisions - not the board etc

Those seasons were absolute crap, the football was crap, the attendances were crap, the managers were crap, the players were crap, everything was crap, I hated going to matches and well, we're back to this again.

Joe Palmer has no say on the football, he's not on the board, he's basically the commercial director

Maynard : Disappointing, we can't be anymore in control, can't question the lads desire but we've got to be able to defend those moments. I don't feel we're equipped, everybody in L2 is putting balls into the box.

Says Jatta didn't come on because we weren't getting balls in to the box.

Im beginning to think SM is not the man for this job, he has got to go. If he fails to win any of the next 4 games which is generous - he got to go- what would be the benefit of keep[ing him on ?? Talent or ability is usually revealed early on - either at the current club or previous success elsewhere - SM has neither ..

Isn’t it his job as coach to then tell players to put it in the box ?
