Sometimes I find Rawson's articles a little bit highfalutin but the recent one on the return of Steve Evans is excellent. It really embodies every aspect of the recent appointment and taps into how everyone truly felt. He hits the spot perfectly regarding Liam Richardson, the manager who looked totally fed up from the very first day! Paul Davis wrote that,''off camera'',LR was a chirpy guy who was fun to be around so couldn't understand why his demeanour changed when dealing with the media. The remark about games resembling coaching qualification submissions under the tenure's of MT & LR is insightful and captures the mood of what the club has/had become. Sometimes in life you just have to put the 'rule book' down for a minute, give yourself a break and have some fun!
Of course the appointment was right up his street….and sod everything else, because he doesn’t know football. Gone back to who he knows, regardless.
