In our younger days the revenue went to the player but they earn that much now. The majority of testermonials, the money goes to a charity. So win win I guess. Unless your a pensioner who can't afford heating

I'm a bit surprised a club hero only started 155 game over 9 years.

I suppose it's not so much a 'testimonial' as that's clearly for any player who's served more than 10 years for his/her club.

What we have here is a legend of a player who served us loyally with a true 100% attitude each game he played, a true rarity.

Let's get down there and show Woody our appreciation for all the years he served us, his goal winning brace at Wembley and everything else he gave us to cheer about. A fantastic Captain who Taylor saw fit to get rid of as he couldn't cope with a better man in the dressing room. I would like to think he would get a portion of the gate receipts and it all doesn't go to 'charity'.

The man deserves a testimonial, for what he did for the Millers.
    Taylor sh*t on him

In what way? Letting him go when he was past it? I’m no fan of Taylor but this is utter nonsense

It's ironic that Evans signed him for us all the way back in 2014 and then sent him out on loan to Crawley.........then Fleetwood......then Chesterfield! That never seems to be mentioned.
