revisiting this statement after the C-Ashworth developments.

“There used to be, I believe as it was explained to me, a coalition of the six major clubs would have a certain level of influence. But that broke down after the European Super club (League) initiative.

It appears that the Premier League did used to have an under the table deal with the Fraudies to favour them and ensure they maintain their status at the top and consume the majority of the revenue before they conspired with Real et al to completely destroy football.

The 'Other 14' seriously need to reconsider their relationship with those Fraudulent clubs.

"At the end of the day, it’s those top six or seven clubs that drive the Premiership and are what the world is interested in."

This is absolutely insulting commentary and totally disrespectful to the clubs that have made competition so rich. It's not the 6 in whom the world is interested. It is the fact that clubs 7 - 20 can on their day beat anyone of those top 6 and derail title bids, top 4 challenges etc.

Without the 14, the 6 would never have the vehicle to become global brands. No one cares about PSG because the league is irrelevant. No one cares about Bayern Munich because the league is boring.

This man can't keep his mouth shut and he's literally showing the football world the dirty world behind the curtain.

Keep going Shatters, I say give the man rope to hang himself!

He opens his mouth and I grab the popcorn!!

Can’t believe how entitled he is! Sporting integrity should mean we are all on a level playing field and anyone can aspire to make it to the top through effort and hard work, and sometimes a little bit of luck.

This is Football… not the Royal Family or the US Senate! There’s no entitlement, birth right to be No.1 or to be in mix.

That little house of cards the top 6 built for themselves should have started to crumble as soon as they tried to destroy the English game.

Us little clubs should show we’re not just there to make up the numbers and pressure the premier league to treat them like every other club. Tapping up, PSR, VAR just seems to go unpunished for them.

There needs to be transfer embargoes, points deductions and accountability (of officials)

If they breach PSR, they need to be at least barred from Europe then they will learn to appreciate playing against minnows like ourselves.

Someone else in that top 6 needs to tell Ratcliffe to pipe down or they’ll go after him for revealing the conspiracy behind their success!

The sagging ballbag's comment is quite funny considering his joke of a team finished 8th & he's talking about the 'top/big 6'.

    So not you then Jim...?

The top 6 isn't a happy group of campers at the moment is it?

    Chelsea have 'gone rogue'
    City are 'doing a Rambo'
    Spurs are still 'sniffing seats'
Arsenal are '______' - nothing to say, zero emotion for the parental also rans.
Liverpool are 'stripping copper and twoking grannies electric wheelchairs' - no change there.

Roll on the new top quality signings and the new season. HOWAY THE BOARD!

Newcastle chairman Yasir Al-Rumayyan was consistently adamant throughout compensation negotiations that Dan Ashworth would only be allowed to leave for Manchester United on Newcastle United’s terms.

He felt personally outraged by Ashworth's level of sheer ignorance in how to act, a feeling which was intensified by Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s “insulting” initial compensation offer of £2million.
    ----------------------------------

Fairly sure that Rag said something similar about the business culture and how they would react.

Yeah man I mentioned it in another post.

In Arabic business culture you don't ask for anything, never talk about money & above loyalty is key.

So Yasir met Ashworth during the process of hiring him and will have personally approved his appointment. To then see how he has acted, sharing confidential information etc, this will have been taken as a personal insult to the sheikh.

You guys think Greeks and Italians hold a grudge? Vendetta right?

With Arabs it's generations. Which is why Middle Eastern politics is so complex. Once you are out you are out. You never get back, there is no 2nd chances.

The £2million compensation was a huge misstep by the Rat. It's not about the money.

If you think that the average price of a barrel of oil since 1950 has been at $50 & the Saudis on average 8million barrels a day = $400,000,000 per day, for 75 yrs. Yeah, the numbers are insane.

These guys are so rich, I mean Elon Musk would be their cleaner, rich!

The other Gulf states, The Emirates, Kuwait etc exactly the same. This is why you don't talk money with Sheikhs.

So a £2m offer instantly put Ratman in a lowly position in the sheikhs eyes. A man of his wealth should know the value of the midget and should have offered a respectful amount.

We can be pretty sure that this will have meant that with the insults about Lingaard's Loan, the manner in which Ashworth was tapped up & the offer that Newcastle United will be doing absolutely zero business with the red filth ever again.

Newcastle & City will no doubt vote together moving forward and oppose anything the filth put on the table regardless if they agree or not. NUFC will now want to pick apart everything ManUre do. If it's beneficial to NUFC they'll still insist on adding amendments to further benefit us over them.

It depends on how badly insulted by this sheikh Yasir is & I guess what the final number was. However, I can assure you he would have taken the points deduction rather than to given Ashworth up without getting exactly what NUFC asked for.

Remember the Saudis hold a lot more weight with the British Establishment than Ratface.

Time will tell if/when NUFC decide to act on the illegalities of Ashworth's actions. It might not be this season, it might never happen, however, it's a bit like the sword of Damocles hanging over his head. It COULD drop at anytime.

I’m pretty surprised at Ratcliffe. I didn’t know much about him before he bought ManU apart from the fact that he owned INEOS and was rich.
He doesn’t seem very astute and behaves as if the whole country supports ManU as he constantly drags the clubs issues into the public domain thinking that it’ll help his cause. He almost scoffs and publicly chastises anyone who he thinks values a person more than he does (Ashworth and Jarrad Braithwaite, for example).
“We won’t be held to ransom over Braithwaite’s transfer fee” he declares. Why say that publicly? Does he think Everton will reduce the price as a result???

He seems to be very self entitled and has a high opinion of himself and his club or, in layman’s terms, is a bit of a tw*t.

He's also car crashed the Man U women's team.

It really does appear to be a case of a man who's ego and vanity have thrust him into this situation.

Built a Billion dollar business that the world doesn't care about. Sat in the posh seats at Chelsea and grew more and more jealous of all the lime light Abramovich bathed in. So, he decided that, cycling, yacht racing and his F1 sponsorship wasn't giving him public recognition is feeble ego craved.

"In life the only thing worse that not getting what you want, is, getting it!"

Be careful what you wish for. It's clear the man is not media trained and it's clear he's so arrogant that believes he can say whatever he wants and everyone will stand up and applaud him. He must be a real JOY to work for hahaha

    Agreed.

It's like he's stuck in the Fergie era of the 90's early 00s.

He doesn't realise that football has moved on and Man Utd are not what they were.
