First pre season friendly tomorrow evening v Parkgate FC

So we actually get to see the club's new signings as we take on Parkgate FC with a KO at 7.00pm.

Should be a decent crowd and hopefully the bad weather holds off.

As far Parkgate, they finished on an outstanding season. Not only did they have to play 11 games in 23 days to end their season to win the title, they also won the cup! Obviously no mugs so I hope our lot don't just think they can turn up and it's a stroll.

Here's to it being a good game and we don't take on any injuries.

Pros v Part timers and it showed in the end. Nombe looked on fire and he meant it, never gave up the chase and got his deserved 4 goals.

Their number 15, the smaller stockier of the two, as there were two of them wearing the same number??? was a right handful, a real pocket dynamo.

A good workout for the lads, oh and that Powell looked very effective and can cross some beautiful balls.

Nombe was on fire, didn`t look the same player as last season,of the new lads,Reece James and Joe Powell stood out, everyone did OK against not very good opposition....sorry Parkgate.
Kayode did himself a lot of good, maybe Evo will keep him, obviously giving him a chance, which makes sense, shame that JCH didn`t play, sounded like he wanted to,but given what happened there the last time he played, might have been a good idea to sit this one out.
I still think we need some pace in midfield.
