    Also, from yesterday...

For the game against Notts Saturday they've already sold 1460 tickets - including 215 for the EFL League 2 side.

Should be a fun day out.

Durhams constant retort he’s never heard of them holds absolutely no water as most people couldn’t name many players playing in the champ nevermind league 2 and I’m pretty sure champ players would walk into our side.
If you had read my earlier post, I said that because the players have performed well at their previous club, doesn't necessarily mean they will be has good here.. Which has been proven too often of the years...

... oh yeah, sorry, the translation...

I've seen the English 4th division live twice. It's no gimme. It compares well to the German 3rd and 4th tiers. The league has a lot more teams and they play every 3-4 days. Needs stamina. At their best they're powerful for the full 90. Wait and see - Notts have real ambition to get back to the 3rd division. A good game and a draw would be ok. But if we want to get promoted, we can't really lose.
We really can't lose a friendly.? Are you sure about that.?

I think that is still part of the translation.

Yep. Did struggle to translate "kein Fallobst" though. German idioms are as colourful as English ones.

Yeah, the sense is that the fruit is already on the ground so there wouldn't be any great effort needed to pick it up.

I went for "no gimmes" but "no walkovers" or even "we can't expect a win to fall into our laps" might work.
