while we're on it why not this one? Check out Phil Lynott's life story, not an easy life at all. Leslie Crowther's Son-In-Law? Found dead on his bed on new Years Day if memory serves me well.

More melancholy......
It is indeed.
There's a slightly tenuous millers link to this one.
I recall a really heartwarming video on YouTube, following a dad taking his young son to the NYS possibly his first visit or his birthday, something like that.
It was the promotion game against Aldershot, and followed their day.
With this tune as the accompanying music.
I liked it anyway, but really added to the video.
I think the young lad was called Alfie or something like that, must be late
t eens now.
I hope he's still a Miller 😆
I've tried to find the video but can't remember the title of it.
Great tune.....not totally sure but a very close friend has a Son called Alfie and I know he did on more than one occasion make him the club mascot on the day. IF it is him, Alfie is now on the Millers books as a Junior player. Suffice to say, his Dad was an exceptional player in the Sat/Sun Leagues around Rotherham/Sheffield and maybe that's where he gets it from.
Absolutely - and he has a great set of pipes…
Thanks for that Brin, As I say not entirely certain the name is correct.
I don't think he was actually mascot, that day.
I remember some of the video being up at the high house, then them walking down towards the stadium.
Some inside and on the pitch after in his dad's arms and running about on the pitch.
It was such a lovely video completely added to by the tune, I think that's what helped it stick in my mind
The power of music ehhh.
Incidentally, if it is the right one, that's fantastic that he's on the books as junior
After seeing their set at Glastonbury the other week I'm now back into James. I saw them supporting the Smiths in 1985 at the De Montford Hall in Leicester and their longevity is amazing. They have to be the most under rated band in British history. They've had a number 1 album this year and no one talks about them.....the media seem more bothered about what jokes the Gallagher brothers are cracking!
