I agree 100%. There appears to be bigger issues to focus on than a PSF.

No point getting the hump about the result as we were chopping and changing throughout
And we seemed a bit disjointed with Cowley, Jones and Nemane all on the right for most of the second half
    Maybe we're experimenting?
or maybe SM still hasn't got a clue?

I have. The closer we get to kicking off at Tranmere the less optimistic I feel.

How long before we stop making excuses for him and admit he’s way out of his depth?

These last few months have been a joke from top to bottom, from that ridiculous premature board statement in early April, to the lack of decent social media team, to the mediocre-at-best signings.

The only good thing to come out is The Nest.

He’s running out of time to fiddle. By now he should have a settled 11 in mind and they should have played together. Let’s see if he puts out a full team at the weekend.
If not it’ll be a long drive up to and back from Tranmere in under a fortnight!

Around Christmas could be interesting, and I don't mean fixture wise

Boston throughly better from start to finish apparently, and we capped off another poor pre-season display by resulting to scrapping at the end.

At this point in pre-season, we're in a far worse place than we we're last season and we're far more likely to be relegated than promoted as things stand in my eyes.

It’s all gone a bit flat since the Wycombe game (our only “home” game in pre-season, of course), where we actually managed a clean sheet. SM talks about building a winning mentality, but we’ve now surrendered leads to teams a level below us in the last two games - even for a PSF, that’s not a good look.

We’re one game away from the start of the season and it feels like we’re going to be a bunch of strangers against Tranmere. Does he field his strongest XI for one Peterborough game and the weaker one in the second game? Also, does it really make sense that so few players will have actually played for 90 minutes before the first game of the season?

It’s all slightly deflating at the moment. I’m assuming the 2 games Saturday we will be playing what will be the perceived 1st team in one of them and then training the week before 11 v 11s are setup that way too.
