We need another decent midfielder to boss it! And a good striker. It's glaringly obvious to all but our recruitment team, just like it was with the defence last year.

I think the recruitment team know this! Well they definitely are after a striker at least.

I think we need to appreciate the opposition here. Posh will be up there in League one this season and we have restricted them to very little. We'll score plenty this season.

On what evidence in any of the pre season friendlies so far , will we score plenty this season? And if they do know we need a striker, why sell our best, release one and loan one out?

Presumably to free up wages for the quality signing we are about to make?! Have a little faith! The brothers won't leave us short.

We will score because all of our providers are still here. Jones and Crowley will create loads and even without Langstaff's goals, we will be fine.

I do hope you are right, we need 2 quality signings, 1 midfield, 1 striker.

5 games in a row that we haven't conceded in the first half, haven't scored in the second half and conceded in every second half.
The only difference today was not scoring in the first half.

Based on pre-season we'd need to be 2-0 up at HT to have any chance of collecting 3 points on the road. At home, we have nothing to go on.

I wouldn't say so myself, we've been ponderous, slow and unimaginative going forward all pre-season, even against teams we should be comfortably dispatching, which is just a continuation of last season under Maynard.

I don't see how that's going to change when we come up against actually competent defences, especially if we don't improve in forward areas and keep playing players out of position.

With the about Ryley Reynolds has featured in pre-season, I can definitely see him being in and around the first team squad a fair amount this season.

Solid defensively as a unit. But at expense of offence. Same for them. Looked like it was going to a draw.
Free kicks and corners wasted by Crowley and Jones.
