LB seemed happy with the team's performance on Sat and that is a worry as the teams tactics and training or coaching if you prefer that word is wholly based on what the players do at RH and if they train to stay in their own half and pass the ball sideways and backwards, then that is exactly what the team will do on matchday. This has been going on since Christmas and seems as though the tactics are not to allow the other team to score and stay defending in your own half. That ruins football for the players and fans and possibly its because LB has spent too much time at Crewe and is fixed minded. The players need vision and an attacking mentality, not defensive and the Chairman knows all this as he saw Dario's team the whole time. Dario must be going nuts watching this dross.
The Chairman needs to have LB in the office and ask him what the hell is going on or actually leave the job to someone else. Football should always be about attacking the opposition and we may as well lost 9-8 on Sat rather than 1-0 which I consider is always a bit pathetic...
A little surprised at the lack of comments from other supporters. No offence intended. I do believe we are at a serious crossroads which has to be addressed by the Board.
I was going to comment but cheesed off with someone playing the same old record
Haha..
You must be very happy with our club for the last 10 years at least and we have spent at least 5 million pounds on the academy and we are playing like a bunch of non league teams do..
Keep smiling and happy!
I will play the same record over and over until the silly idea of academies and training kids at our level is done away with...150 years the club has been going and some fans think it was just since we had academies...and we would go under without one! They are the ones we should be worried about..That cheeses me off!
Ryan Lowe has just resigned from Preston....He would be great here...
I don't care if some fans are offended my friend...They need a dose of syrup to wake em up...You won't get many fans making comments but they will keep paying to see the next dross match...Change only comes by fans getting annoyed about the style of play and tells the Board to change it...
Get rid of the useless academy that produces no shots on goal in 95 minutes..Its the academies and multiple coaches that produces these displays....who else????????????????????????
The Board and players need to come onto social media to explain to the fans what is going on! Why don't they?

I must admit, in a state of shock, i watched live and then again today, watching that against Barrow. Too sideways (John Mahoney days!), if Barrow quicker we would of being caught 3-4x playing out. The Barrow goal scored from 3 yards out (I could not see deflection, where was the keeper?). What's the 40 yard cross field balls, we are not skilled enough for that. Tabner since last years injury, either lost a yard or I think played in the wrong slot. Ineffectual up front, not a target or even ball holding. If the only real shot had gone the other side the post, it would of flattered us. The subs brought on did bring some urgency, however was shocked no changes after 45 mins. If we play like that Tuesday, we shall be 3 or 4 down, looks like Blackpool was reality. Let's see what the week brings!
John Mahoney days? He cried on the pitch at the final whistle before he joined Stoke...
He was a pretty good player imo..
Thing is other fans can attack me for the broken record and agreed, its a pain in the neck but they should concentrate not on my views as I never believed in academies as players were always signed on ability not millions spent on what they may be like in ten years...I mean LB has been here many years and so cannot possibly be happy wih these performances..Just get the players to attack the goal from the first minute and have a dozen shots at goal in 90 mins not zero...I still blame Don Revie for all this negative football tactics and having one striker if you can call him that when the whole game was designed for 5 forwards and 3 midfield players ie 8 players attacking if needed. What we have in modern day football is 8 players no 10 players defending...
Its easy to remedy but you have to have managers who know all this and change accordingly..
Barrow, alonside Stockport and Wrexham were non league for many years and we are worse than them despite millions going into a kids playground...I forecast academies will disappear as quick as they arrived when we get people in the FA who actually know how football should be played...Who is the next England Manager?
He really wouldn't. Lowe is a man who is more about Ryan Lowe than anything else.
Whilst I accept you are not going to change your views re the Academy, I would be interested to know how you think the club would fund transfers and wages for the older players you would expect us to sign.
We could not afford Ryan Lowe and not sure why he resigned after one game..
I have been consistent about the academy and Dario did perfectly well without needing one and signed some good players at the time and RH has cost a bomb and fair enough we got enough in transfer cash to keep it going and in some ways now we have players in the PL being transferred for 80 million then you would think that would help us at Crewe BUT the PL want great players NOW and not ones who may fit in a few years time...Its what money does..
We had some very good players here over the years and 99% of clubs in L1 and below won't have Cat2 academies and so I want to ask the Chairman how much money we could save by downgrading it or getting rid of it all together etc....We spend half a million on the academy and so where does that money come from only the Directors who good on them for doing that but now the big transfer fees incoming has dried up and almost no PL or Championship grade players here for at least 10 years then should not the club think of a better alternative.
We still get a load of cash from the FA and sponsors and so we would do what almost all the clubs in L1 and L2 do, we transfer good players in and pay them better wages than we seem to do...ie compete like all the other teams do...It should be older players we can attract who actually are far better players than almost most academy graduates and so again lets change the system and change the manager and play like we did for the last 100 years when the gates were a lot higher than now and it was dirt cheap to watch the games....Yes, I know, an impossible strategy now but you have to have plans for change and our club hasn't got any...
