I think it’s Guehi’s character which makes the difference. The Ruddy signing and EH’s defense of Miggy show how highly he regards the ‘team’ ethic over individual talents.
We’re a mirror image of the Chelsea approach to the game.

Solid, reliable players tend to be overrated in England...

Diomande got huge potential. I got a feeling he will go on to be the best player, when we look back in 6 years time.

    But I'm no scout.

IF we sign any of them I will be happy.

A right-sided center back is key, regardless of who it is. Even a #2 to Schar who can come in and learn from himis better than nothing.

Branthwaite is Left foot Left side. Not the same position we're recruiting for. Not a direct consideration. We'll have 4 left, left sided CBs on the books if we signed Branthwaite. Everton showed their hand when the filth approached to sign the Branthwaite. They wany £70+ million. Everton are desperate financially so they won't budge an inch on their valuation.

    It's a no for me.

Diomande is an unknown. Looks like bags of talent and will become a class player. He's 20 yrs old, no experience in the Prem.

of the 3 Guehi is the man.

I’d add Bastoni from Inter to the list.

Good at tackling, tall, good in the air… if we are gonna pay close to 70m for a player I’d consider him too

They rejected our latest bid for Guehi, belived to be around £65 mil. Wich means they probably want £70 mil for him.

Time to forget about Guehi, hes not worth £70 mil. One good season with Palace and a decent string of games for England.

£70 mil!!! I hope we dont pay that for him. Hes not worth anywhere near that.

Time to walk away. I agree. 70 million is too much and showing that Newcastle aren't in control of their spending or negotiations.
