Josh Brownhill offered to Fulham, Tottenham and Everton

Josh Brownhill has been offered to Fulham, Tottenham and Everton for £5m.Stinks of desperation for FFS.

In our current financial Eton Mess, to lose £5 million by letting Josh walk for nothing next May is madness in the extreme. Someone is getting a bargain at £5 million.

I agree. £5 million seems low but he is probably one of the higher earners in the squad.

What we don’t know in all this is how many players wanted away from BFC. To my mind, Cardy got it right when he said, basically, if you don’t want to be at the club, you know where the door is. Brownhill wasn’t prepared to commit to the club.

I would rather have a squad of less talented players who are committed to BFC, than a group of mercenaries who give half-hearted performances if they can be a*rsed.

It has been obvious by Brownhill body language he wanted out last January

He started the 1st couple of games like a new man but the comings and goings must have takes his toal, and now wants away

Good luck to the lad wherever he lays his hat

Fair play to Josh, he has always put a shift in and appeared in 155 league matches out of a possible 180 since he signed, he has also appeared in 16 cup games and he has taken stick from a number of fans.
What would we give for 11 Josh Brownhills in our present situation -----we can only hope!

That’s right sub just a couple of fit and at it Brownhills would help - I stuck up for him alot when he gets battered but I have to agree with Ballcock on this he has imo dropped his standard and commitment in the Premiership last season and it is blatantly obvious at the minute he wants out.

In fact last year I worried a bit he’d break a leg dangling limp legs in tackles etc

Shame because overall he’s been great for us.

He is also one of the last big wage earners. If we can pocket £5 million for him today I reckon it would be damned good business whilst also agreeing wholeheartedly with Supersub6's comments in post 7#.
