I get your negative view to a degree because it's become my natural mindset over the years to avoid disappointment, but today we weren't disappointed. We took the 3 points, so I can only think of celebration. Enjoy it like I am.
I'm not denying I enjoy the 3 points. But when people try and call me out for my views that this squad isn't 1970 Brazil like they think, I have to say what I see. That performance from us was dire and we got three points because of McGoldrick and his finishing. From what I've seen of Jatta (and I like him), had he not been concussed and playing, I don't think we win that game

Look at the stats, we had possession but nothing else

From recent observations you need help. I sense your agenda and your strong desire to be right is overshadowing the football.

I’ve seen use all over teams and lose loads of times I’m sure Swindon fans have too so they’ll get over it very quickly.

In my opinion we deserved to lose today, beat Fleetwood, Grimsby and draw at Tranmere. Assuming you’ve seen all the games do you agree? That’s 7 points. We have 1 more, so no crime in today’s events.

We know Jatta scores, we now know McGoldrick has plenty more to offer than some think. My concern is Scott. Brown is an unknown but welcome.

Now the transfer window has closed you can hopefully give the squad size stuff a temporary rest.

I enjoy every win matt_magpie, regardless of performance. Its no good playing teams off the park for 46 games and end up being relegated..

Not heard/read much about today’s game, seen the goals and that’s exactly what I thought we’d see more of last season from Didzy. Dunno if he was playing in Macca’s/Jatta’s position but two great finishes.

I think as others have said we rarely won games we didn’t deserve to last season because of our defence and it’s a big step forward if we can this season.

Love it Durham, I agree, I’ve always wanted expansive football, hated Nolan’s tactics blah blah , but nothing beats a good away win when you’re not quite right and respect, you go week in, week out, I don’t.

That’s correct I think most of us fans in the away section would agree. Do you also agree we deserved overall to beat Fleetwood and Grimsby and draw at Tranmere.

I disagree with the defeat will haunt them. Wasn’t that sort of game at all. Bass played well looked comfortable but he was hardly called upon to make lots of saves. Can’t remember the woodwork saving us or any refereeing decisions going massively in our favour.

I haven't seen the match, only those brief highlights. It's clear that Swindon did a lot of attacking, but they didn't have all that much to show for it, presumably because we defended well. We're so used to dominating games with possession and often with exciting attacking moves that perhaps we've forgotten how important a good defensive display can be. Defenders having good games can mean a team deserves a draw or a win too.

I'd agree with Grimsby and Tranmere, not so sure about Fleetwood. I think a draw was a fair result. Last 30 mins we dominated but it was dire and turgid for the 60 before that so all in all, I think Fleetwood was a fair result of a draw
