O/T 50/50 draw - takings are well down.

Anyone on here have a go at the 50/50 draw at the stadium?

What a performance now and it is costing the club some money as well as the fans, who expect a reasonable prize draw.

Previously you would sometimes see two if not three sellers of the tickets outside the stadium on match days. Now there is only one and that poor lass is getting some right and underserved abuse from fans and all because they no longer take cash. That's tight, it's credit card or nothing and loads are refusing to pay by card so, the takings are down and well down.

One old chap was giving the young lady some lip because of the situation, and good for her she gave it him right back and told him to go to the ticket office and complain if he felt that strongly about it. I asked her if she was okay and she said it's happening all too often. I hope she is feeding all of this back to the club.

Some folk like myself still had a go by card but sometimes the signal is weak and it's taking longer to complete a transaction, result being some are even leaving the queue and walking away. As a comparison, normally when it's a decent crowd, say
8k - 10k the half time payout is always above £1000. Last Saturday the crowd was 9k+ and the payout was only £620.

Whoever thought of the card idea needs to think again and bring back the cash procedure or, takings may drop more thus the money that goes to the youth set up reduces and more funding will be required from elsewhere.

I always buy a 50/50 but haven’t since it switched to card only. I’ve no problem paying by card but the queue has been so long I just haven’t bothered. I’m obviously not the only one.

Plus they've gone from three selling down to one? That doesn't make sense at all.

I don't have an issue paying by card but there should be a choice.

I pay by card now, but,as you know Brin, it's dry in here and we get more time.

Huddersfield game was the 1st league game for me, and i remarked to Ann that it had nose-dived since paying by card was intrduced.

Wait until its cold and raining it could nose-dive again.

As already mentioned just one selling and the length of queue isn't helping. Didn't bother at last match. Me and mate used to get two tickets each from two different sellers.

As for anyone giving her abuse then that's well out of order.

Never understood why they don't sell tickets in the concourses before the game.
