    Lovely little article on Notts

Not sure if this article about Notts and match day experience has already been posted but if not it’s a pleasant and reaffirming read.

Was a nice read, I think it's linked to a travel agents that specialises in football holidays so might see a few more tourists down the Lane off the back of it.

Nice article and photos but the relentless monochrome (& perhaps the weather) make it all look a bit too, uh, post-industrial.

Confirms what I've always thought about our beloved club - there's a lot of good will out there towards us. Or maybe it's just sympathy!

    lol!

I enjoyed this, thanks for posting. Don't get back to Notts/ML often enough, made me feel a bit unnecessary!

I think that’s what he liked about the whole match experience, possibly as opposed to the sterile vibe at some of the newer grounds.

Must admit, I’ve never seen the light industrial estateish thing around ML as a plus, but we’ve obviously taken advantage with the Nest, and if others do the more the merrier.

Snap on the 'unnecessariness'. Likewise I don't get up to Notts often enough and that made me feel I ought to. Not least because it is worthwhile. We are a club doing wonders for the areas, for the fans, and for the game experience.

C'mon you beautiful, stylish (a word that had been a little too knowing for far too long) Magpies. God I love you

I was at ML for the first time in a year last Saturday. What struck me is how much better everything looks and feels. From the new pitch and scoreboard to the full Kop and Nest, the whole place has been transformed. Amazing to see 10k+ there for a home game against Accy.

No matter how long the gaps between me going there, it always feels like home.

To me the experience this season is night and day compared to what we experienced in the 2000s and beyond.

The transformation of the club and the match day experience under these owners has been nothing short of miraculous to be honest. There ambition is clearly for all to see.

Over 10,000 for a L2 fixture against Stanley with no kids for a quid or similar cheap ticket offer is frankly unbelievable. To be honest I did not think regular 10,000 gates were possible at Notts never mind at League Two level!

The Nest is a superb addition that should be a long standing one rather than a flash in the pan.
