    Swansea v Norwich

    Swansea v Norwich Sat 14 Sept 15:00
We’re back and the two week International break is over. Only four matches gone in the league so far but already we are down in 16th place in the table with one win to our name, not a good start.
The break was a chance to get the new signings to blend on the training field but unfortunately some key players were away on International duty - Vigouroux, Eom, Vipotnik, A-On, Cooper, Cabango, Cullen(ankle injury, returned to club).
So if Cullen is still out injured, Vipotnik plays tomorrow, as the only recognised striker.
Norwich have a new manager, Johannes Hoff Thorup, and are one point ahead of us in 13th place after two wins.
Striker Josh Sargent is likely to be fit, with 2 goals so far and 16 goals in 26 games last season, he will be one to watch out for.
They won 0-1 away to Coventry in their last match, winger Borja Sainz scoring his third goal of the season to snatch all three points.
Having just spent £27m on five players this summer and with parachute payments still active they have a good chance of promotion this season and will be tough opponents.

    Swansea 1 (Forson 4’ og) - Norwich 0
Surprisingly outdone on the possession stats we still managed to win this one. An early own goal with Forson deflecting the ball into his own net from an Eom pull-back meant that Norwich had to come out and try to equalise. It was exciting all out attacking play from both sides with the Swans just hanging on in the end, Cabango saving the day with a brilliant tackle on Sainz when he was through on goal.
Norwich players tried to gain free kicks by diving but the ref wasn’t having any of it and booked one player, captain 23 McLean I think it was, for simulation.
A much improved performance from the Swans which will hopefully bring back the missing crowds.

Exciting performance from the Swans and some committed performances especially Cooper and Franco.
Two well matched teams, but Swans blunt up front and still have problems there.

Much better boys, no early leavers today with both teams getting stuck in and all out attacking football.
Only disappointment was the attendance, hopefully this performance will bring the crowds back.
