In other news, it seems like Glasgow will be hosting the Commonwealth Games again in 2026, after everyone else pulled out of hosting it for financial reasons.

I personally would have binned the whole thing off. The "Empire Games" is very outdated. I didn't watch a minute of the last Glasgow games, or indeed any of the Commonwealth Games for years.

Their arses are generally far too big for the look that they seek and clearly the (Sue Grey type) of money on offer in the oil industry is still crazily out of kilter with any normal job for their generally uneducated other halves. I'd actually say money in the industry isn't what it was and a lot of folk have left it over the past ten years, but it is still awash with pr!cks.

It's a fair generalization to make.

There are a lot of foreign folk work over here in the industry now and they are normally nicer people and much more level headed.
