Much maligned competition but it does give an opportunity for returning, young and fringe players to get a run out in a competitive match.

I was just amazed at what an entertaining game it was with both teams up for it and trying to play the right way too. Clearly almost none of the Notts team had played a full 90 this season and struggled to control the game in the second half. Tactically it was right to drop back when legs were tired and we held on for a deserved win. Austin was everywhere and this should give him a good confidence boost going forward. Gordon and Tequila as backup wide men is a dream. Sounds like an idea for a cocktail too!
