    It's looking that way, but remember this is Notts! Another batting point tomorrow is likely to mean Lancs need an extra 50 runs when they bat. Both us and Warwickshire will be safe with a draw, I'm sure both sides will be aware of that.

    So relegation avoided comfortably in the end, but that was really down to Kent and Lancs being even more shyte than we were. It's been an awful season, dire in all formats and never in the hunt for a trophy. The upside is that we seem to have unearthed a couple of future stars in Freddie McCann and Farhan Ahmed, and Rob Lord has the potential to develop into a decent all-rounder. We've lost a true legend in Luke Fletcher, the only hope for next season is that more youngsters break through.

    It can’t be worse next season can it, although this is NCCC.
