Well, this was going to be my first game at Pittodrie in several years; but I'm tonight realising that there's a massive risk of me jinxing our unbeaten run. So I might just bide in the pub to be safe.

Cup Final day for Dundee United next Saturday as they take on the mighty Aberdeen FC at the Cathedral of Football.
United haven't won a league game at Pittodrie in ten years, since a 3-0 win in August 2014.
They have got off to a good start this season, but I still fancy the Dons to extend their unbeaten run with a 2-0 win.
The game kicks off at 5:30pm on Saturday 26th October.

So looking forward to this one.
To be fair, they are doing alright and add in the Goodwin factor and you have the makings of a very good game.
Should be a cracking atmosphere and reckon it will be a sell out.
The only time I ever left a game early was when the PJMs scored to make it 4-0 in the 60th minute or whenever it was. We had free tickets so it felt acceptable. I wonder when that was, maybe 2001 or so? Dark days.
On the other hand, my single most memorable game, other than the final in 2014, was in 95, when we relegated them.
I hate to say it, and 57V might disown me, but this feels like a special occasion. Canna wait.
That may have been 17 April 1999 when some debuting on-loan ‘keeper from Liverpool, who was later Fulham’s ‘keeper (Tony somebody?) had a nightmare, when Billy Dodds, whose contract we apparently paid until the end of the season, scored against us and there was that particular “oooooh, look at me” sending-off of Pepper by an attention-seeking referee. Paul Hegarty was interim gaffer, trying to work miracles with the utter dross that Alex Fúcking Miller had left him with.
I have no intention of looking it up at www.afcheritage.org where the report will not cover my post-match conversation with Brian Irvine on Pittodrie Street, nor my impeccably-executed oil and filter change on my car that evening.
This one is likely to be a pretty tight and close affair.
That being said I am still pretty confident that we will keep our undefeated run going.
1-0 the good guys. Nesbit

thought you might have some kind of recollection of that day. It was the Nigel Pepper game, eh? Surprised I forgot about that.
