How can Steve Evans say, he thought first 20 mins the Millers were good.
He must have been watching a different game to me, we had first 5 mins, then Barnsley got on top.

After not laying a glove on Birmingham at NYS he said that Rotherham fans that criticised the performance didn’t understand how football is played.

Sick of saying it Odoffin should be 1st choice centre back. Humphreys can play left there. Bramall should be left back. Phillips back in goal. No Kelly Hungbo Hugill next EFL game. I'd keep with McGuckin young players need games to pick up the pace of the game. If JCH isn't fit then play Duncan there.

Can you just confirm that I’ve read that right? You want to start a 16 year old centre back up front in our next league match?

As for the Odoffin thing, believe me, we’re all more sick of hearing it than you are of saying it.

-I think the players are probably good enough. Most of them on paper are whoplayers could get into most sides at the top end of the table.

    - Whats the point in sacking the manager and starting again after 15 games because it’s not gelling as quickly as we hoped. We’re Rotherham not Real Madrid. We have no right to expect to win every game and dare I say it have been spoiled by relative success in recent years. Not only the expense of paying out contracts of evans and co, but the fact it would require another change of direction, players on big money falling out of favour, etc…Also who would come? Talk of robins is cloud cuckoo.

    - saying that we don’t look like we have a style of play other than knock it back to front. No point having players who can play if they get neck ache. This is down to Evans.

-Evans saying he could have brought in players on bigger wages but chose not to feels like a smoke screen.

    -We have no squad depth.

-Much as I am so grateful to Tony Stewart for the success we’ve had and the way he has transformed the club, I am beginning to think he is the biggest issue. He’s an old school owner employing an old school, autocratic model of management. Maybe running a football club like a regular business doesn’t work. Why the u turn on rob Scott’s role? I think once managers get in post they see how he keeps a tight leash on how they operate. Yes we’re in the black on the ledger but we constantly miss out on targets, managers and players because we can’t go the extra yard with the budget. I reckon it’s known in football that it’s hard to work here and so various managers and players turn us down. Too autocratic. I would welcome new investment and control being shared between Tony and said investors a bit more.

Don’t post much but feeing frustrated. Still I won’t boo or shout for anyone out, just hope we can do a bit better and be better to watch

I’ve read all the replies so far to this thread and Stancliffe just about sums it all up but, in a more level headed way. That’s no disrespect to others posts as you correctly vent your spleen to what was an atrocious display from us last night.

This won’t be popular but sacking Evans now isn’t the way forward. I’ll mirror Stancliffes point on the team not gelling as quickly as we all thought it would.

Clearly of the 14 players brought in, a fair quantity are duds! Who do you blame for that? Top, middle or bottom of who makes up recruitment?

I say give Evans the January transfer window to move on those not worthy of wearing the shirt, we all have our thoughts on who they are, and bring in new players. Not popular I know but I said pre season, a mid table finish would do the first season and I still think that’s where we will finish. All the hype and demand of instant promotion is and never was achievable this season.

It's hard to see where we can improve this team under Evans imo. People say we have decent players for this league but i am not too sure. JCH has been good in this league. Is he still good? Same with Ragget and Rafferty. Ordinary at best. Kelly played at a higher level to a decent standard but had his injuries for us and has only impressed once imo.

A club like us has to use the loan market to good effect to progress. I do think Wilks adds to us at his best but is very inconsistent. Hungbo and Osong up to just have looked way off what is required. I think it was indicative last night that young McGucken who was loaned out to a side two divisions below us got the start before Hungbo. Not sure what is happening with Osong atm.

Do we give Evans another transfer window? We cannot keep changing managers and expect progress. However. i am not sure Evans and his style of play can see us progress. That is the dilemma facing T,S. Do you stick or twist. As football is a results based business don't be surprised if he twists. Poor times for our club and no signs of it changing soon.

Yes Duncan up front in an emergency. Who else we got Raggett or Jules both not mobile enough same at the back.

Disagree 100% he doesn’t take responsibility for anything it’s the players, the fans, the last managers.
It was a stupid decision to bring him back and it’s stupid to keep him here.
It’s not about promotion it’s about the total lack of anything remotely acceptable.
Get him gone. I’m not emotional I’m seeing what’s evident he’s not what we need on and off the field

I agree there’s a conversation for what’s happening at the club internally but that’s for another thread.
