Good draw, not one of our players had a below average game.
Without our 3 star creators, Jj, DC and Didzy, we proved how competitive we are in this league.

No problem with SM not making any subs for once - good to have that as an option when the situation dictates, and not to just make subs for the sake for it.

Abbott and Jatta were the picks today, but I love that Gordon knows how to play his position so well. He's made for it.

Referee really wasn't giving Gordon or Brown anything. If their player had gone down in the box rather than shooting I think they'd have won a penalty - but brave work from Bedeau really.

I think that’s the huge positive with this squad. We have maintained a challenge despite being without our best players. It’s scary really that we could have had many more points than we’ve accrued with the those players fully fit and firing.
Bodes well for the remainder of the season.

Understandable when he looks for movement in front of him.

the defining moment of the match as it turns out, although that was a super save from Austin (?) at the other end too.

Our goal was a thing of wonder, have to see it again but shades of that Gordon Mair goal against Ispwich. SM must get some of the credit for that. I'd say it's nearly time for some posters to season their hats.

    Good result.
As for the second-half subs, yes, possibly, if they had been done as they came back on but to take anyone off (and nobody was playing poorly) would have introduced a period where the subs got up to speed with the game; Donny were coming fast and furious (don't forget they were the home team!) and pushed us back (as we pushed them back in the first). We did well to get what we got against a team with the same points as us and on their home turf.
SM is doing a great job contrary to a lot of opinions (mine included).

8 unbeaten away and inching towards equalling Keith Curle's club record 12 match unbeaten start on the road in the 2012/13 season.

Crewe showing up three times in the sequences below suggests they will be very tough opponents next week.

    CURRENT SEQUENCES (this season only)....
    The Good
Unbeaten in the last 6 : Crewe Alex.
Won the last 4 : Milton Keynes
Scored in all of the last 11 : Crewe Alex.

    The Bad
Without a win in the last 7 : Colchester U.
Conceded in all of the last 10 : Milton Keynes

    AT HOME
    The Good
Unbeaten in the last 6 at HOME : Crewe Alex.

    The Bad
Without a win in the last 7 at HOME : Morecambe

    AWAY
    The Good
Unbeaten in the last 8 AWAY : Notts County
Won the last 5 AWAY : Grimsby Town

    The Bad
Without a win in the last 7 AWAY : Colchester U.

Despite the unbeaten away run, Port Vale and Grimsby have picked up more away points than Notts.
4th on both average goals per game and average goals against.

Good away point, would have gladly taken that before kick off.

And no Jatta, he is so important to us and contributes all over the pitch.

Most played well. Felt Tsaroulla and Gordon underperformed. Brown was hit and miss.
