Our chairman does have previous form for doing this sort of thing but it will be interesting to see if the rumour of an announcement on Monday actually comes to fruition.
    What rumour?

TS was worried about season ticket sales and all other commercial income streams suffering if he didn't reignite interest in the club. Appointing Evans did work in relation to this. His bold, audacious statements increased the positive frenzy amongst the supporters and suddenly the Championship seemed an almost inevitable conclusion. Then it all went downhill.........the season kicked off.
Has said Evans hired to sell season tickets.
TS panicked into him coming back to the club.
14 players fetched in on freebies, some playing on past reputations, but not turned up.
Time for a rethink over the weekend for TS, does he sack Evans.
But unless something changes, fans won't be duped into buying season tickets next time.

The most interesting thing last night was what Aidy Moses said after the game about Evans, much sense spoken, and an insight into what players sometimes think about managers.
Many on here were crying out for a more gobby,in yer face type of manager, beacuse apparently the Warne style wasn`t to their liking, how you enjoying it then ?

This is far more interesting than discussing the banal tosh that was served up last night!

Whilst living in Canberra, I had a call at work from my wife asking if I could come home and check on the welfare of a snake she had encountered in the garden. It was a Tiger snake which had got tangled in some plastic netting over the veggie patch and it had been striking out at a new Jack Russell pup we had just purchased. She had apparently hit it with a spade and she wasn't sure if it was dead.

On seeing it, I realised she had hit it more than once because it resembled a sliced salami. I confirmed that the snake was dead. So you can add 'hitting with a spade' to your list.

We had Tigers and Browns in the garden and I can confirm other methods of them meeting an end included being run over by a Mitsubishi Pajero, a necessary execution by garden hoe at a children's party and various encounters with Jack Russells. We did however lose 3 dogs to snake bites but I think over 90 minutes the dogs had the better stats.

Execution by garden hoe? Can one spray a snake to death? Or did you put some lippy on it and use it as a honey trap?

I think you are confusing a hoe with a hose.

    I think we should have

    "ways to kill a ...."

Instead of the next match thread 😆
    We could rotate various things.

    Although it might end being

    "A fan base"

before the end of the season 🙁

Ah, fair enough. I thought that Glenn had just missed the s off. Death by gardening tool. Not a very glorious way for our wriggly friend to depart but they all count.

What about being rubbed to death with an emery cloth? Quite a slow process and you'd need a lot of patience but awful for the snake. Good though if the ******* has killed your dog, or close family member and you've got a lot of time on your hands.
