Wish it was just a joke, but the reality is that people are getting visits from the police for blasphemy against the official state religion. Some of this was going on before Starmer took power, but it's obviously got worse to the point people are now serving lengthy prison sentances whilst we've just had somebody walk free after sharing sick images of newborns.

Stage 2 - It is happening but it's only extremists, this doesn't impact on normal people in any way

First they came for the rioters that set fire to hotels housing foreign people and I did not speak out because I was not a rioter setting fire to hotels housing foreign people.

Then they came for those spreading racist disinformation to incite violence and I did not speak out because I was not a racist spreading disinformation to incite violence
