Don't see what the problem is as two doctors have to give their consent as well as other strenuous checks before it can take place.
I thought it was illegal to commit suicide but on investigation the law was abrogated in 1961.

It is however, still an indictable offence to assist a person to commit suicide.

I'm at a loss as to how this assisted suicide Bill even got past first base.

Can someone please explain the difference between I'm going to kill myself or I'm asking you to help me kill myself.

One of my cousins had cancer and was told she had only months to live.

Those "few months" became 4 years. I hope the House of Lords intervene and veto this right to die nonsense.

Having met BT I now realise his bark is worse than his bite, but I keep falling for his fishing expeditions, more fool me.

I listen to reason but sometimes "reason" makes no sense to me. For instance, I cannot see any difference between "assisted dying" and "assisted suicide". Perhaps I'm just thick?

As long as the rules and regulations are watertight with no room for 'Outside Influence' and as we have heard they have to be within 6 months of 'Certain Death' and 2 doctors and a judge all agree, then I am 'FOR'.

Only problem with this scenario C_M is who decides if the victim is within 6 months of 'Certain Death'?
